An Australian band? Well, besides that this band consists artists with roots in Haiti, Sri Lanka, Latin America and the Caribbean they bring a mix of reggae, funk and afro beat. Futhermore there is the carisma of the Aboriginal singer Natalie Pa'apa'a. This leads to a high energy party band. They write their own songs and in Australia they are together with "The Cat Empire" the 2 best roots bands of the moment. Carlos Santana described them as "The voice of the street and the band of the future" and Michael Franti said: "I'm always inspired by their funky, high energy, socially conscious music.
